One of the most beautiful spots in the whole Region is the Conocchia peak (Monte San Michele). The way up starts from Positano or Monteportuso.
From Monteportuso it is possible to take the path number “329” which will start the ascent towards the top of the mountain. After 1.5km you will reach an altitude of about 750m (Waypoint 1). Here the route splits into a first one which leads to the Est side, and a second one (Number 300) leading north to the top of the mountain.
From the peak the view will fully embrace the beauty of the Amalfi Coast, the island of Capri and the Faraglioni in the distance, the cities of the Sorrento Peninsula and, turning back, the path traveled from Positano
If you choose to leave from Positano at the end of via Guglielmo Marconi you can find a place to park and start the ascent
If you choose to Start from Montepertuso, just take Via Tagliata (SP425) to the entrance of path 329
